Does anyone else think the new BOSS' wheels with the colors are kind of
tacky? They look like Steeda Ultralights to me but the colors.. yuck sorry

Honestly, I wish it didn't have all those red accents. It def has too much going on with that. All black with red calipers would look sexy.
Those CL wheels look like the wheels Beemer owners find popular, not used to seeing them on a Stang.

That's the Laguna Seca edition BOSS, not the street version, it's a race car, so it's got the right to dress in tacky color combo's. And to me, the wheels look more like the standard GT500 wheels than those Steedas, but I imagine they are just as lightweight as the Steedas.

Hrm I didn't know there was a difference in color scheme with the Laguna and the street.
My bad!

The LS is only available in silver and black, with the flamboyant red accents.
The street version is available in Competition Orange, Race Red, White, Kona Blue, and Yellow Blaze, with black or white accents (c-stripe, hood, and roof).
Oh, and the LS has a secret hidden feature that hasn't been officially unveiled yet, it's supposed to be a "beast key"... kinda like the MyKey allows you to control how loud your kids listen to music while driving the car, or how fast they can go, the beast key unlocks beast mode for the LS model...

Beast key?
Any guesses?
I thought I read somewhere the LS version was going to have no rear seats.
Pretty much pure race.
Right? Wrong?

My guess, the special "beast key" will unlock "beast mode" which will probably be a special tune in the computer for balls to the wall aggressive racing mode...
all the BOSS info is here: http://www.forums.abilenemustangs.net/showthread.php?t=808

Would'nt that be cool to be able to switch between tunes with a press of a button?
Store like 3-5 tunes like on a hand held but the choices pop up on your touch screen
stereo or something lol.

I think it's going to be along that line, just it will physically be a separate key you put in the ignition to enable the beast mode "tune".

I think I could force myself to drive that car even with those wheels -
