Ceramic coated or....

Going to put some long tubes on my mustang i had some ceramic coated shorties on my old stang but they were ceramic coated.. me and a buddy did some work on my car started it up in a dark garage... those headers turned bright red... eventually they warped... is this common for the ceramic coated if so i will just get the normal steel without the coating.. what are yalls thoughts on this

If your shit turned red and warped, you were probably running WAY lean. lol

so it wasnt the header... it was the engine ceramic coated wont turn bright red....correct.. i like these mac ones mac have good headers?

They'll turn red but they shouldn't warp. Mac is middle of the road stuff, along with BBK and a couple of other brands, but they'll do the job.
