But I figured I'd drop in and say hello. My name is Scott and have a Black 94 Mustang GT with H/C/I and a turbo. Had the car since I was 16 and been slowly modding it since. It's still a long way from finished and it doesn't get out of the garage too often since I have to pick up my 2 year old from day care every day after work. I missed having something fun to drive so i picked up a new daddy wagon that should keep me happy for now.

do you work on base? and is that what the car looks like right now?

just wondering cause the last time i drove my car to work before i pulled the motor i was behind a 94-95 black mustang turning onto the road to go to the tye gate. It had wider wheels on the back and sounded pretty nasty.

98Formula,
It has nitto 315's on 10.5" rims. Same rims and tires in the pictures. those pictures don't really show how wide they actually are. Also, it doesn't have the wing anymore. I think i remember driving to work one day and having a formula behind me. I got on it a little when i turned on to military drive and you would have been right behind me. If i remember correctly the traffic at tye gate was rediculous that day and you ended up turning around and heading to the front gate.

Seeingred,

My sister picked one up and ever since i've wanted one, especially after i drove hers. I would go for the 3SS if its in your budget. Overall I really like the trailblazer SS's a lot. They drive really nice and look good in my opinion. Which is kind of odd because i allways thought the regular trailblazers were ugly. There is random stuff here and there that i don't understand why chevy couldn't do right. Mostly minor fit and finish stuff. I would still recomend it though. I love wagons but there aren't any good one's in the states so i decided the TBSS was the next best thing.

Yep that was me. Your car definatly looks good and runs pretty hard! That day when you got on it I went to follow, as soon as I hit the gas it started breaking up, misfiring really bad. I was pissed cause I really wanted to play lol.

I'm also looking at the SRT8 Cherokees. I need something AWD or 4WD up here. I'm sure my Tacoma Prerunner would do fine up here in the winter if I loaded the back up with some sand bags, but I'd rather not chance it so I'm considering something else. Right now it's coming down to a Titan Pro4X four door, the TBSS, or the Cherokee SRT. The big thing that sets the TBSS apart from the SRT is the LS engine...I LOVE LS motors.

What's the difference with the 3SS?

The 06 TBSS's came in LT or LS trim. the 07-09's came in 1SS or 3SS trim. LT=3SS and LS=1SS i think. basically the 3SS has the leather and suede seats as well as all the other bells and whistles. The 1SS only came with cloth seats. You can get both trim levels with all whell drive though. Also don't be fooled by the dealer installed leather seat covers on the 1SS's. they look like poo and are pretty easy to tell apart. an easy way to tell is the 3SS will have blinkers on the mirrors and buttons on the steering wheel for radio, etc. I looked at the SRT8's and they seamed to be quite a bit more expensive. Personally i like the looks of the TBSS's better anyways.

took it to the track in england. ran a pathetic 12.6 @ 121mph. I've since replaced the bald tires with nitto drag radials, swapped the flowmasters for magnaflow mufflers, and added upper/lower control arms. The problem is i'm still on the stock short block and stock T-5 with a stock replacement clutch that doesn't hold too well. With a decent clutch and sticky tires it should run low 11's no problem but the transmission would probably grenade. So thats why i'm waiting till i swap transmissions which will probably be a while from now since i just bought the daddy mobile.

Thanks. It looks nice in the pictures but the paint is really starting to deteriate in some spots and a new paint job is on the to do list.

Glad to finally see you here man. I still want to go for a ride in that thing. Did you ever get your fuel issues fixed?
Come with to San Angelo on July 16th and gve it a quick run.

not sure what fuel issues your referring to. If you referring to the lean idle then the answer is no. fuel is fine when driving though. I'd like to go on the 16th but i think the wife may be going to a bridal shower. Not sure which vehicle i would take either now.
