A guy that i work with is a member on here (Kyle with the red 96 Cobra) and since there are no local F-body sites i thuoght i might join in here.. My name is Kenny i work B-1 Fuel cell and drive a 98 Formula, white with black strips. There is a video of my car on here racing i believe its Brown7's Mach 1 (as soon as i get my motor back in i want a rematch btw!). I am a big car fan, i almost bought a buddies silver and black 99 GT but just didn't have the funds at the time, soon after i got my re-enlistment bonus and found an awesome deal on my formula and just couldn't pass it up!
As for my car, its a 98 formula LS1 A4, LT headers, manual cut-out, k&n filter, SLP lid, msd wires, ngk plugs, horrible mail order tune, LS6 intake manifold, 3200 stall, and 3.73 gears. I just recently put on the LS6 intake and the 3200 stall, best time before that was a 8.69 1/8th at 82mph, my tune is holding the car back big time, but there is no one around here that can tune an LS1 and i just don't have the time to take a trip for a tune..

Welcome to AM!
Post up some pics of your car, I want to say I've seen it on base but I'm not sure.
btw, you're not the only f-body owner here, there's a couple. :t)

I don't have any real good pictures of it right now but here are a couple.. I bought the car in January out in Dallas, and it has been nothing buy issues since i drove it home. The guy i bought it from put in a lower milage LS1 from another 98 TA and i guess decided to do the wiring is own way, he cut pretty much all of the grounds and ran a couple of his own, and he also never told me that it was in a front end accident. It still needs some body work, the passenger side front fender is cracked, the front bumper cover has a cut in it, and it could use some new paint.. I pulled the motor out about 2 weeks ago, got a new wire harness for it, the 3200 stall, and i cleaned up the engine bay a little bit.. I'm hoping to have it back on the road and drive it to work by friday morning!

Nice ride man. There is an Abilene F-Body group on Myspace in case you want to hit those guys up too.
You should come with us to San Angelo July 16 for some 1/4th action.

I'll see if i can make it down there, I'd love to run the 1/4... I'm hoping to make it out to the track here in town this weekend, i'll just have to see how it goes when i get the motor put back in.
Anyone else planning on going out to the track this weekend?
