i have an aod automatic transmission in my 88 gt yea boo i know, i want to beef it up a bit, i have been researching shift kits and stalls and things of that nature, had some questions maybe yall can help me there are a couple kinds of kits out there for my transmission b&m has a shift kit which i understand, now transgo on there other hand has a shift kit shown here http://www.transgo.com/sk_ford.php.... mine would would be ther 13 or 14th one down the sk_aod. now where im confused is they have a kit called a reprogramming kit shown here http://www.transgo.com/rpg_ford.php... wtf is a reprogramming kit which one would i want to go with...now a stall i understand, i just want to know if its going to help me im pretty much stock but not for long mass air is on its way than i can start doing shit to the motor... will a stall be a good idea as well

Reprogramming kit just changes your shift points.

so the shift kit is what im after for stronger shifts....and things of that nature

That and a manual valve body are probably what you're after.

ok seeingred on that note which shift kit b&m or transgo or does it matter the b&m shift kit is is also 30 bucks cheaper..why can you give me a link of the product that you would be getting if it was your car..

I'd probably go with B&M. If it was my car and it was just a street car with occasional DD duty, it wouldn't be automatic. ;)
