What is a good transmission shop in town that can rebuild a 4R70W?

Big Country Transmission is what I was recommended. I think I will be sending mine back to PA on the E-coast and have them rebuild it. It is 1/2 the $$$.

Art Carr is in Abilene. Not sure if they do rebuilds though.

Got Art Carr rebuilding it! Great place to deal with Plus they are very Military friendly. :)

You have to stop by or give them a call and they will work with you. They like and appreciated the Military. :)
It was $450 plus parts. Also my converter needed new clutches so we had to wait on PI to send them out. In the end it was 1/2 of what Big Country wanted just to rebuild the trany.
I will start installing it today. If I get some new tires I might make it to the track next weekend.

I forgot about them! they rebuilt a converter for my duster a few years ago. good people and work on the cheap.
