I didn't figure it would have a 4 in bore but I was hoping it would. 11:1 compression is awesome!

The thought of trading in the 07 keeps coming to mind.

In the 6M the 5th is the 1:1, WTF. I was hoping 4th would be 1:1 so you could have a nice highway cruising gear. 6th is .65 and the current T-3650's 5th is in the mid 60's I believe, so with 4.10's you'll still be at 2400-2600 rpm's.

I'm glad to see the 5.0 badge coming back with Ford. Now, if we can just talk them into getting the GT500 up to 5.8 .... :D

Or 6.2

I don't think the 6.2L will ever find it's way into a Mustang. Pretty sure it's a truck only motor.

It would be nuts if it did.

It was wishfull thinking rich. That's all. Just saying it would be cool to see a truelly huuuge motor in a mustang like the cobrajet. I think it would be better than a reworked gt500

Oh I agree with you. I just saw an article about an S197 that had a 592 stuffed in it... wicked!

well technically wasn't the 5.4 just a truck motor?

Touché...
I was only saying that because of what I've been reading elsewhere. There was talk about the next GT500 getting the twin turbo'd 5.0L, but Ford came back and said it wouldn't happen, the engine bay doesn't provide enough room. Granted, Ford worked some magic with keeping the new 5.0 relatively close in size to the 4.6, but I just don't see them being able to stuff a 6.2 in there if they're saying space is an issue.

i thought i read the 6.2 was pretty "compact" too. like similar to 5.4 in size... idk where i saw it....
