I took a job as a correctional officer for the state of texas, i had to drive to gatesville for a training academy i will be there for 5 weeks. i drove my 88 mustang. as i was getting into gatesville i rolled down my window and noticed my exhaust sounded totally different. i was so worried about that problem i didnt bother to check my gages. and failed to see the bigger picture. as i was pulling up to the prison where the academy was, my motor began to make a very loud noise. this is hard to describe. the best i can describe it is my car sounded like a tractor, literally. i got to where i had to be.... parked my car i didnt drive it til today when i had to move it to another parking lot. i started it up looked at my gauges and noticed my oil pressure gauge looked like it wasnt working. it wasnt on zero(in the red). it was just way below like it had broken. im scared my oil pump blew and stopped cycling oil through my car and that sound is my motor about to seize. did i screw myself here is my motor done? what is going on with my car

Go buy a mechanical oil pressure gauge for starters. Double check that oil pressure is the problem.

Hope you didn't drive your car too far.

Yes. what james said. But if you are judging your oil problems on the stock gauge...dont. lol. Get a mech gauge and try that. Check your oil level and go from there.

This is the same shit you were asking about just the past couple of days! I told you almost a month ago to get a mechanical oil pressure gauge. lmfao. Guess not.
