View Full Version : WTB: '07 F-150 front lower bumper, etc

Posting this in a few places, hoping to get some hits... :)


A kid tried to run his mom's Pontiac up under the front end of my truck a couple months ago, and the check from their insurance company FINALLY hit the bank, so I'm looking for some replacement parts on the cheap. I don't want anything aftermarket, just a stock OEM replacement (see pic below) for the damaged parts. I only need the lower front bumper, with round fog light openings. (I've been able to find a metric ton of the bumpers with square openings, but I want an exact replacement if possible.) Also need at least one tow hook, and the lower plastic valance.

Would prefer something that's already painted black.

Yeah I would have, because the accident happened before I would have traded the truck on it. So I'd have either had to repair it or taken a hit on the trade in value...

Either way, the more money I can save on the repairs for the truck, the more money goes into the Bullitt... :D

Waiting to see what I can get a new front bumper for from Ford, but I found the exact one, unpainted, on eBay for $230 shipped. Got a hit on the plastic lower valance, so the only things I still need is a tow hook or two, and possibly a mounting bracket, which shouldn't be too bad. I'll have to pay for paint and take the truck in to get the frame horn adjusted, but I plan on being able to install the parts myself and hopefully not spend the entire check...

Anyways, got everything I (think I) need for the repairs, with exception of the mounting brackets for the bumper. I'll get those from the Ford shop, that's easy. Getting some good deals, so there will hopefully be some play money left over to throw at the Bullitt... :nod:
