Respecting other Members
1. If you want to talk trash to the other members of the site, please do so in the appropriate trash talking forum, or take it to PM's. Keep all the BS out of the other threads on the site.
Sigs & Avatars
1. You can host your sig images where ever you like, to include the gallery attached to your user profile. Animated sigs are not allowed. Size restrictions - 600 pixels wide and/or 150 pixels tall (or equivalent 'area').
2. NO WW OR NSFW SIGS OR AVATARS ALLOWED. This means no nudity, half naked women, cleavage, bikinis, inappropriate text, adult content, etc... NO EXCEPTIONS.
3. NO ANIMATED AVATARS ALLOWED. This means if there is motion in your avatar, we don't allow it here.
Classified Listings
1. Classifieds are "buyer beware" in nature. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure a safe transaction with the seller. AbileneMustangs assumes NO responsibility for transactions that go bad.
2. The classifieds are for PRIVATE PARTIES ONLY. Site sponsors must post their for sale ads in their own forum.
3. If you are a business and not a paying sponsor of AbileneMustangs, you are not allowed to sell any type of merchandise on this site. If you are interested in sponsoring AbileneMustangs, please send a PM to the Administrator (Black_Bullitt (http://www.forums.abilenemustangs.net/private.php?do=newpm&u=1)).
Sponsor Forums
1. The site sponsor forums are for the sponsors to interact with our members. Do not post in these forums unless you have a question or comment for the vendor. If you want to reply to a question posted by another member, please do so via PM. Spamming or cluttering a thread in a sponsor forum will not be tolerated.
NSFW
1. Nudity, pornography, and other NSFW materials will not be allowed on this site. This is not limited to items/materials posted on this site, but also includes advertisements/links on other sites you intend to link to. If you have to question it, it probably shouldn't be posted.
Infractions
1. Infractions may be given for posters who violate site rules. They may be given with a point value or just as a warning. Infraction points usually expire between 30-60 after they are given, but if a poster makes several violations in a short period of time, the points do add up as follows:
After receiving 5pts, you get a 5 day ban.
After 10 pts, a 10 day ban.
After 15 pts, 30 day ban.
After 20 pts, permanent ban.
The bans are automatically put in place by the infraction system.
Spamming / Site Plugging / Recruiting / Shilling
1. If you register on our forum for the purpose of posting links to your site or selling your junk, don't bother. You will be placed on moderated status or receive a ban for your efforts.
2. If you are not a regular posting member and wish to inform members about a non-competing car club or site, please check with me before posting about it. These will be approved on a case by case basis.
In other words, if you are a registered member and you don't have any posts to show for it, don't bother trying to recruit our members for your own site or club, you will receive a ban.
3. Shilling or doing business on behalf of a vendor: All employees or anyone doing business on behalf of a vendor must identify themselves when posting. Advertising by or for a vendor who is not a paid sponsor of the site is strictly prohibited.
