I plan on having a couple options made up once I get the site graphics nailed down. I want to have decals and business cards at a minimum, and have some other ideas rolling around in my head.

what kind of theme are you shooting for.. like a sleeper decal as in something generic-oh-hey-im-in-a-car-club, or an all out shut-up-and-get-in-the-kitchen-im-driving-a-mustang kind of look?

Both if I can come up with something. For starters, just a sleeper style. Right now I'm looking through a shit ton of fonts to find something I can work into our forums theme as well as other graphics later on, and it has to be something 'clean' that can be made into decals with ease. Eventually I do want a no kidding logo with some degree of design put into it. Most of the ideas I've had running through my head so far I'm pretty sure have been tried elsewhere. If you guys have any ideas, feel free to post them up, I have a lot of free time at work and am trying to come up with something simple yet unique.

I was kinda thinkin for the picture part of a logo, a pissed horse head facing straight forward or diagonal, blowing smoke out of its nose. Kinda like the www.cjponyparts.com logo. Then Abilene mustangs or w/e.

Still working on it when I get the chance, I'm searching through literally hundreds of fonts looking for something I think will work for us. I've got it narrowed down to about 5 choices right now. I'm just playing around with them to see what I can do with them.

Also, PatriotDecals.com has signed up to be a member here, I've been emailing them to see about having them produce our decals when we get the design nailed down. So I'm excited to have them here. :t)

here are the 1/4 window ones I made up quick like. I do not know how hard it would be to do 2 or more colors in the same line/letter you know. So will have to see what Dustin at patriotdecals thinks would be cost effictive and easier.

yep, that is the exact one I was thinking of. :)
I think the less detail, the cleaner it will look, and the easier it will be to turn into a decal.

I was going to try to do one with the new 2010 design, with the "hips"... I know we don't have any of those on the site, but I don't want to single anyone out by picking a certain generation either. If I get time, I may do one for each gen we have here on the site, then you can pick the one that matches what you own...

The 2010 look would be cool for the site logo. And then your Idea for every generation would be cool to throw into decals so people could select the decals for their model.

ya I tried to strech the head on the ones I did to make it longer, then it looked odd. I like simple but with enough emphisis on look at me. But like I stated it eariler I dont know how hard/easy it would be to have multi color in the same decal.

Then you have to think of trademark bullshit at the same time, etc etc.

Then you have to think of trademark bullshit at the same time, etc etc.That's a HUGE one to remain aware of. I wouldn't mind trying to mimick the running pony logo's head, but Ford is extremely protective of its trademarked images/logos/etc.

I'm going to reengage these decals. I had sent our font (#1) to the decal guy but haven't heard back from him. I'll send him another email.

I like the idea of the shirts as well, and will try to get something designed here pretty soon. Just to get an idea, how many folks would want shirts? (Gonna throw out an estimate of $20-25/ea depending on where we get them made and how many we order.)
