Got wet when I was coming home from work tonight... It didnt run shitty so I dont think it sucked any up in it. I checked when I got home because it was freakin flooded by circuit city, buffalo gap, and clack. It wasnt too deep and I drove slow. But Im kinda freakin out about it because I know rich sucked water up in his air filter... should I be trippin out?

No. Rich almost hydro-locked his motor and he knew it when it happened. If your car is running okay you probably didn't suck enough water up to really make a difference. You should be alright.

If it shuts off, more than likely it's because you sucked up a bunch of water and you locked your motor up. Bad. My buddy Troy used to have a TA and he locked up the motor in it. He kept one of the rods and it's bent in a crescent shape. Ugliness.

You should be alright.Yeah, I apparently sucked in more water than I realized and the car made a gut wrenching sound and locked up right there in the middle of the road.

If you've got the hood up that's good, it probably wouldn't hurt to take the filter off completely and let it air dry overnight.

You should see the rod that came out of Troy's TA. It's crescent shaped like the moon. It's hanging on the wall in his garage.
Speaking of which, I need to call that mofo and go see his Cobra.

if your really worried about the water in the intake take your intake off, also take your plugs out and turn it over a few times. at least thats what we used to do on on our race quads back in the day. not sure how deep the water was you went through but you can look into a bypass filter to help with situations like this. i saw a guy stick one on a shop vac and then put the hose in a bucket of water. he sucked out all the water and there was none in the shop vac it all came out the bypass filter.
not sure if this stuff will help but im board and its 2AM so there
