FS: 2007 F-150 FX4 SuperCrew

Because of the new 2010 Mustang :banana: , I'm going to need to get let go of the truck. :( I figured I'd put it up for sale here to see if anyone wants it before I take a significant hit trading it in at the dealership. :cool:

It will be available in early to mid July - whenever the new Mustang is delivered.

It's a black 2007 F-150 FX4 SuperCrew. It currently has 30,xxx miles on it, but I anticipate it will have approx 34k on it when I'm able to give it up (I have a 3200 mile round trip coming up).
It is pretty much stock except for tint, a leveling kit, Rhino Liner and 17" STX wheels. The dealer that I bought it from apparently swiped the FX4 20"ers, foglights, and tow hooks. (Fogs and tow hooks have been reinstalled.) The stock exhaust has been removed and replaced with a Magnaflow muffler. It has seen regular oil changes every 3k miles, serviced at the local Ford dealership. Never smoked in. Everything both mechanical and electrical is in top working condition. Tires were put on in Sept 08 - Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/70R17 - and have plenty of life left. There is one eye sore, a golf ball sized dent along the top edge of the tailgate on the driver's side. A good paintless dent repair shop will have no problems removing this. Heck, I might take care of it before it comes time to give up the truck.

Here's what I'm looking at as far as price.
KBB rates the truck as follows, in it's current shape (excellent) and with an anticipated 35k miles:
Trade-In - $20,325
Private Party - $24,425
Suggested Retail - $26,975

I'd like to get as close to private party value as possible.

Just a suggestion.

A few years ago (well I guess about 4), I had a Camaro that I was selling.
Car was in really good shape and body etc was in great condition. Just in great condition all the way around.
Despite posting it in the Abilene Reporter News and American Classifieds I had real trouble selling it.

So one day me and my buddy are sitting around on a Saturday and he says to me,
"Why don't we go park your car by Hastings on 14th like some people do with a For Sale sign on it?"

We did it and by the time we got back to his house I had FOUR calls on the cell.
This is within 15 min I shat you not.
Drove right back up there and three of them were waiting to check it out.
I sold it right there.

I know for a fact ALOT of people have sold their vehicles FAST by parking them on 14 right there by Hastings.
Sounds stupid but it works. Regardless of year or price of vehicle.

I can say that I too have had good luck selling my wifes car the same day @ the hasstings parking lot..........theres alot of people that drive by there all day everyday................and Ive been selling cars for a living for like 3years now........thats wut I would do .......good call on the hasstings p-lot bsmoke
