Anyone Know when Arrow Ford's Annual Car show is?

I enjoyed it last year.

Trin and some others were there.

I was just wondering if anyone remembered when it was since summer is here and all.
I'd like to have my car in it this year since my goodies will be done.

Usually the first part of June I thought... haven't heard anything or seen the big billboard up yet though. Maybe we should call them and see if they're doing it again this year.

I called and found out they ARE doing it... however the girl at the front desk did not know the date and the marketing guy ... I got his voicemail... but I left my name n number so maybe he will call me back and let me know a date.

No call back yet.... and I tried them again haha.
(P.S. this is one reason why I like West Texas Ford so much better, they actually call customers back.)

yeah I know, right?! I had a salesman tell me that I could/should take some photos for them whenever they got their Saleen S197's in, but he said to get in touch with their marketing director. I called no less than 3x and left messages and never got a call back. And I offered to do it for FREE!

Same person I was going to speak with about the show.
As a matter of fact... I believe they have 2 "marketing directors" because on my call back I got the voicemail of a woman saying SHE was the marketing director. No call back from her either.

BAD NEWS.

Got in touch with the marketing guy finally.
Lady at the front desk was wrong.
They will NOT be having Ford fest this year. Reasons stated were the closing of the Chrysler dealership and bad times.

HOWEVER.
There is light. There is an event called the Car Walk that is taking place on June 11 (not sure about the time).
Not sure who is holding it but they are going to shut down a good part of the downtown streets in Abilene up to the civic center for a car show type thing where the participants also drive down these streets.

So that's the update.

yeah sorry i didnt see this post sooner, i could have told you that. they told me about a month ago that they had to cancel it do to budget cuts

I remember them doing the car walk last year or the year before... looked pretty sweet from the pics i saw, LOTS of cars lining the streets down there by the old theater or whatever.
