I'm not saying LS motors are not good, I just can't fucking stand it when people put GM motors in Fords.

You can't deny that LSX's are better than most motors Ford builds. Ford needs more cams, more valves and a supercharger to keep up with the LSX's. I'll give them this they do have less displacement. :)

Funny thing is, this debate can go on and on.

But tell me this. Why can some with only 281 cubes with bolt ons and cams get within the same times and HP numbers are similar modded LS cars? 5.7 liter anyway. (ruling out the LS7)

Take most Big Bore 32V cars. Compression is comparable to the LS motor now. 10+:1 compression. Add PROPER cams, intake and bolt ons, 420-440rwhp is completely do able when built right. I know of many cammed LS6 motors barely clearing 410rwhp. I alos know of 440-450rwhp cammed LS1/6 cars...but those cams are so big...hell it will clear out your sinus'. Brandon I am sure will jump in here.

Move on to Carlos (NAZMAN), Big bore and stroker. 324 cubes. Ok...money into the bottom end, but still LESS cubes than the 346 LS motor. yes more compression, but still 22 cubes less...He made over 530rwhp. Give me a break. I have yet to see a stock cubed LS motor make over 500rwhp. ANd he is doing it with less cubes. granted he has CNC'd heads and one of the best intakes on the market...but I know the LS guys that use great parts too don't make that power.

The LS motor is nasty Yes...esp if you just want some good power from a few bolt ons....but Ill take a 32v over a LS motor anyday.

Now...lets just leave it at that. I don't want to get into LS7 shit. lol. Unless you let me bring Scott Cushman into it....;) That will shut you up Brandon. lol.

Cube for cube no question... 4v but that doesnt really matter... because that means all of us are fails because a lil honda motor would beat us all in that department.. what really matters is mod for mod dollar for dollar. At least to me and most street guys.

Their are quite a few stock cube ls cars over 500 but their not the norm and neither is bb 4v's.

Im talking ls1's ....ls3's are a whole nother thing... those mofos are mean..

if you go mod for mod na the ls car is going to win. Period. Not to say mod motors arent sick.. i mean hell you fuckers have a factory shortblock thats good to what 900 rear wheel???!?!?!?

And a ls motor done the way naz did his would lay well over 600 if done properly.

But...

when the new mod motors come out with bigger stock cubes... look out...

Ben99GT is making 340+rwhp on 'stock cams'....;) Not Mach intake...but stock cams

How many 400-410 STOCK head machs are their?
