I am thinking about replacing my exhaust for SLP loudmouth and I wanted to know what you all think. I have heard a lot of sound clips and I like them.
Right now i have 40 series flow master dumped with Bassani Xpipe and i do not like the dumps becuase my bumper looks weird.

I had an SLP catted X and a Magnapack catback on my '03 Mach and it sounded awesome. I'm not a HUGE fan of SLP catbacks though; a tad too raspy for me.

Slp is ro raspy on the 2v and 3v. Get magnaflow and the american thunder flowmaster

SLP is most definitely loud AND raspy. I was super excited/happy with the volume on the Bullitt, but was getting to the point where I was sick of the raspy-ness.

I had SLP LM II's and SLP o/r X.

have the LM2's and a catted bassani x pipe. had a o/r prochamber and liked the sound of it. Only switched was so i could throw the driveshaft loop on I have. Not as loud as it was and still like the sound of it but the prochamber gets my vote over the x

I Recommend getting with a few of the crew and listening to theres. Buying based on sound clips never really works out the way you plan, the clips always miss either part of the highs or part of the lows depending on the mic used. As well as you don't get a feel for the drone.

my girlfriend has SLP LM1 on her mach and personally i love the way that it sounds

I have either the spintech pro streets or super streets, I cant remember, but min are fairly quiet at idle and when you are cruisin, but loud as balls when you romp on it. Oh yeah and I have an o/r h.

LMs are great for LS1s and LT1s....for some reason they sound horrible on Ponies. I've never heard it on a 4Valve, but I imagine it cannot sound that different than it did on the 2V GT I heard in Dallas. Loud, raspy....Magnaflow sounds so much better. If you are willing to spend the buck on SLP, go balls out and get Bassani. My advice.... I personally love the FM 40s

Ive got a 3V with axle back slp loudmouth with x and i like the sound but it depends on wut your going for ?

Last I checked, SLPs catbacks and mid pipes were cheaper than Magnaflow, Flowmaster, etc. Bassani and Borla are at the top of the prices for Mustang catbacks.
