I've been averaging about 3 spam accounts a day that have been signing up. usually they are too lazy to 'verify' their account and therefore aren't able to post. this doucher meant business apparently...

Let me check our anti-spam settings, that should take care of the issue.I changed a setting after this happened (went from reCAPTCHA to image verification) and haven't seen a single spam account since, so it 'should' be good.

I just checked and the settings were still set for recaptcha, since we're not registered with them, we have no public key, so anyone can register. Plus, when you set to image verification, the security level is low, so you have to turn on all the options to make it strong.

Its done now. :D
