Guy has some BBK LT's on corral for a '98 for $175. Should I snag these?

Me personally, I stay away from BBK. But that's my preference.

My last Fox had BBK longtubes and I had no problems with them at all other than them being 1 3/4" diameter primaries. Other than that, that's cheap as shit and I'd go for it. At least then if they're haggard, you didn't lose your ass.

:confused:Another question I have.

I have been kicking around the idea of throwing a 100 shot on my car after I do a PI swap. Is that a good idea? My car is pretty much my daily driver and I dont want to fuck my car up and end up driving my old '98 v6 Dodge Goat from high school(dad kept it after I bought the stang).

Im starting to find out that your personal preference is very good. lol.

nothing wrong with BBK. NEVER had a fittment issue, Never a leak problem, fairly priced, just that the coating never stays shiney and doesn't really last.

Id say for 175 bucks, get them.

Well. My car blew up on the dyno with a 100 shot. But you have a better/return fuel system. So get a 255lph pump and I don't see why you cant do that.

Also, if you plan on staying N/A and can get a set...get some SVO NPI heads. They flow better than PI and work better in N/A applications, while PI is better for the boosted side.

Yea I asked for picks, and they need to be recoated with some high heat paint. But the guy said he couldnt find any cracks, so I think im going to get these.

Well I already have the PI heads sitting in the corner. All thats left is PI cams and I will have everything. Maybe NeverEnuff Performance can help me do the swap? lol

Anytime bro. Should only take a day.

I got some Comp 262s for ya. ;)

Your car would be a pretty nasty runner, 10+:1 compression. PI heads, Comp 262s, and L/Ts...with some 4.30s. Woot woot!

If only I had the money for cams. lol My plans were to get some hitech stage II cams but my good paying summer job ended once school started. So Im just going to get some PI's for cheap. But those Comps would be nice.
