It's on the web site, but I'll also share it here:

The Friday March 13 Test-N-Tune and our Saturday March 14 race have been canceled due to weather.
We will run those events on March 27 and 28. The chassis certification has also been postponed - as soon as we can schedule someone for that, we will give out a revised date.

We WILL be running our Street series and Test-N-Tune on Sunday March 15 as scheduled. Thanks for your understanding - come on spring!

Speaking of that, what are the rules for an 1/8th mile track? When are you required to have helmet/cage/etc?

the tech guy said something about having everyone needa helmet or just 9s or faster. i got away with going helmet-less. he wasnt sure which they fell under..so i guess if you have it..great. if not..great. 9s or faster bring it anyways..

All installed SFI certified safety equipment must be up to date with current dates and numbers. Refer to the IHRA rule book for equipment requirements based on your class and ET. Effective Jan. 1, 2007, where a Snell- or SFI-rated helmet is required in competition, the Snell 95 and SFI 31.1, 31.2, 41.1, and 41.2 helmets will no longer be allowed. Look in the General Regulations section of the 2007 IHRA Rulebook under Helmet and Goggles for expiration dates for all Snell and SFI-tagged helmets.

Long pants, shirt, shoes are required for all drivers in all classes, unless a fire suit is required. No shorts allowed in any class period.

It needs to be SNEL 90 or newer. They never checked mine. I think as long as you have a helment on they don't care.

Got the Cobra ready for tomorrow! Removed over 200LB and added some BOOST. All I can say for now……This thing is scary on the street.
I just hope the track hooks!

Just found this on the dragstrips front page.
"Drivers of Sportsman classes and ET cars - 11.49 (7.49 1/8 mile) and quicker must use a helmet meeting SNELL SN 95 or newer. Entries running 11.50 (7.50 1/8 mile) and slower a minimum of a SN-90 is mandatory."
