Pondering Vinyl Stripes. Need some info.

I have really been thinking of putting some stripes on my stang for quite a while now.

I am getting closer and closer to doing it (color etc. will be a surprise), and I have a really nice setup planned.
However... I have a problem.

I do not know where to go in Abilene to get it done.
I am probably going to order the stripes from baltimorestreetmods.

I am just wondering where the best place to go would be and what kind of price I am looking at to have them put them on.
(Not wanting to do it myself)

Any advice?

He is doing mine hopefully around the 1st of the moth and getting a great deal. A good friend of mine did super snake stripes on his car and lets just say he paid almost double if not more then what I will spend.

Not to mention the cost of a tank of gas up here for Dustin to install them would still be less then what you will spend just on the stripes for that other website.

it's a 2.5 hr drive, not sure on install time, but it wont be more then a day to come here get it done then drive home.

its not hard..dont be scared :D i did my wifes 06. it helps if you have a kit that is for the car. i put a plain pink stripes and it was a bitch cutting around stuff..

Yeah I am getting them pre-cut no doubt.
I can get the stripes themselves for about 150-170 bucks.

I just don't wanna spend that money then waste it if I mess up on the processes.
I mean money is money. That is why I am going to pay to have it done.
I mean hell... if there were people I knew that had done it before sure I'd pay them and do it along with them..but I don't.

I plan on getting 10" twin rally stripes all the way across bumper to bumper and put a
1.5" stripe on the outside of each side of the 10"s.

That or putting a superstripe all the way down bumper to bumper with a 1" stripe on the outside edges.

But the rally is really my go idea right now.
Color I'm not gonna reveal till its done ;P

I just really need to find a shop here or some people who could help me do it if I paid them some cash to help. But I wouldn't want to do it that way unless they had done it before and were confident in it.

soap+water in a sprayer thing and you can adjust it all you want. its really easy.. :D

do the smallest one first so your confident.

BTW between washer jets you have 19" clearence, super snake stripes are 1"1" 14" 1" 1" so a total of 18" and again What you will spend on stripes is more then what I will spend and 2 tanks of gas.... just a fyi

So I have made up my mind.
I am definatly going to pull the trigger on this.

It should be a combo no one else around here has or will anytime soon.
It will be tastefull yet mean at the same time >:)
I found a shop that quoted me a price of 250 to install the stripes.
There is just no way I am going to put the effort into doing it myself having never done it before. I would get too frustrated trying to settle the vinyl on. I already know it lol.

Superior Paint & Customs on Energy drive off Treadaway... Ask for Andy Tell him Ricky Sent you... He does perfect stripes and paints:t) them on... makes if like they were made there you cant feel them.... If you ever see a black GT with Orange stripes by kents harley he did that one!

Thx. I called them.

Turns out he only does PAINTED stripes and not vinyl.

I called my uncle at West Texas Ford in Anson.
He said he sends all their vehicles to Barretts when they do stripes.

Others have told me they did great work too.
Looks like that will be the place I go to get them installed.
