My new 2012 BOSS 302

Drove by the dealership this afternoon on our way to lunch and caught a glimpse through the showroom windows of what I thought might have been the 2012 BOSS, but with the reflections and everything, couldn't tell if I just saw the rocker stripe, or a complete C stripe. So on our way back to work, I looked hard and realized it was in fact a BOSS. Made my way over this afternoon, camera in hand, to try to get some pics while it was still there on the showroom floor, because surely someone had already snatched this beast up. Nope.

I'll skip past all the gory details but suffice it to say the crew at Arrow went above and beyond, staying late after closing to help me get into my dream car. Cell phone pics will have to do for now, pro shots coming soon!!

My Daughter is 6 going on 7 and I have had a mustang the whole time without one bit of hassle besides laying the seat forward, so a kid should not be an issue either.....

Thanks dude! His car is freaking amazing! Just picked uP the red key from the dealer, and it's unreal the difference in just the sound even! Power band really kicks in in the mid 5k's... I'm still in awe!!!!!

Rumor is there might be an updated tune coming soon for the red key. But I haven't confirmed that yet. Had one guy on another forum say the red key was pointless so far because the tune hasn't been finalized yet, however, like I said, I can tell a difference between the two. But, the Ford rep did say there was some stuff coming down the pike, to include invitations to BOSS specific events... :D

I have an admission to make, the red key is moot right now, so any difference I thought I heard earlier was just the difference between starting it yesterday and starting it today. It's a placebo key for now. lol. FRPP will be releasing the final tune in the coming months, and we're supposed to take our BOSS's to an approved FRPP dealer to get reflashed for the red key specific tune. I'm looking forward to it. In the meantime I'll just be hella impressed that the "stock tune" is as impressive as it is!

I'm up at a dyno in Wichita Falls tonight with Matt and we got a chance to put the BOSS up. It put down 385rwhp!! Then, just for shits, we took those discs out of the side pipes and freed up 4 more horses for a run of 389.76!! And the sound is just flat out beastly!! Best free mod ever!!!

Lol sad but true... I kinda hate having a dated motor..I I started to envy the 3V when mine had the same numbers but cost twice as much to build.
