WTF though.... the judges DEDUCT points for stuff such as having a non-Ford stereo or NON original striping? That's lame if you ask me.
Especially given that I have a non stock stereo and custom stripes lol!
Apparently they want just about EVERYTHING stock and original! Dunno about this now.

Straight from the rules for Daily driven: Cars in these classes will be judged for workmanship, cleanliness and condition only. Cars in these classes will NOT be judged on authenticity.

If you don't want to be judged, enter as display only.

Ah I just read the pdf did not see where daily driven said that.
I'd love to have my car judged.

I read the 05 plus section and it did not say this anything about daily driven.

If you play with the concourse categories then they are looking for original fasteners and the like -- thankfully there is the category for those of us without 100 point cars. :) I'm going display only, as my paint isn't up for judging and I'm a member of the host club, so I'll be working from the striping/marking on Thursday to the tear down on Sunday.

I'll probably be parking cars on Friday/Saturday, so I'll be out and around.

Can't wait to see all those Mustangs -- it is GREAT.

I bet we could get a good group hotel rate too.
If worse comes to worse we could find people we know in the DFW area to stay at for the weekend.

I think this is a great opportunity for us.
I want to go BAD.

But I will need someone else with me just because of my health issues.
Not to help me but to be there just in case of emergency with low blood sugar or something.

Well I canx'd out on the race because I just had a toenail removed yesterday and didn't want to be on my feet all day.
